This resource is of most value to children in Key Stage 2, although it can also help those in Key Stage 3.
The Wellbeing Action Plan is one of our most popular resources. It helps children to build their own personalised wellbeing toolkit as well as identifying challenges and creating a personal plan. Rather than handing it out in large groups, we suggest you use it with individual children as a way to hold a supportive conversation with them.
Use the plan to help the child identify their strengths and take care of their wellbeing when they’re struggling. It will help ensure that an adult picks up on any unhelpful thoughts the child might be having, as well as aiding communication with the child’s parents/carers and ensuring consistency of support between home and school and other organisations such as youth groups or CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services).
Please note the maximum order for this resource is 50 items; if you feel you would benefit from a larger quantity, please contact us directly to discuss your needs.
This resource is also available as a free downloadable PDF from our website.
We have a similar resource for older pupils and college students: Wellbeing Action Plan for young people.
And a new Wellbeing Action Plan for adults.
